Wading Birds, Cranes, and Rails

Here is my portfolio of wading birds, including the big one from my area, the Great Blue Heron. (Thanks to the GBH rookery on Bath road on the south end of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park - it would be hard to not have a bunch of great GBH pictures).

Great Blue Herons are the common wading bird in my area. I'm lucky enough to live near the Bath Road Heronry on the south end of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, so I get a lot of practice with my Blue Heron photos, especially late in the winter and early in the spring when they are building their nests.
