Small brown(ish) birds in the brush. Little Brown Jobs (LBJs) - the bane of bird identification everywhere. Still, I love them, especially the common ones in my area, like song sparrows and chipping sparrows. They help me pay attention to the fine details necessary for LBJ identification.
Towhees are an exception to the LBJ rule - they're big, colorful birds, and I was thrilled to photograph one at the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve.
