Road trip for bird photography practice! My sister-in-law Jackie is going on an Antarctica trip (and yes, I'm jealous). She wanted some practice before her trip, so I tagged along to the The National Aviary in Pittsburgh, PA, a 1½ hour drive down the road. They have all sorts of amazing birds in their collection, and I got some shots I really enjoy.
Photos were a mix of my outdoor bird rig (currently a Fujifiljm X-H2S and Fujifilm 150-600/5-6.3), and my new favorite captive bird combo, my Fujifilm X-T5 and Fujifilm 90/2. The 90/2 is a fantastic portrait lens, and captive birds make for fantastic portraits!
